Baby
and Pepeu started performing as a duo, achieving huge
success with the songs "Menino do Rio" (Caetano Veloso) and
"Todo Dia Era Dia de Índio" (Jorge Ben). She recorded
regularly until 1986.
She changed her stage
name to Baby do Brasil in the '90s and teamed again with the
Os Novos Baianos for the recording of Infinito Circular
(1997).
She later released "Acústico
Ao Vivo", the pop music disc "Um" and "Exclusivo para Deus.
Baby do Brasil is
releasing a new album to 2007. |
